Winchester sxp marine Defender question

Looking at picking up this shotgun. Fairly new to shotguns and was wondering if you can shoot steel shells through it.

any winchester defender i have seen was cylinder bore. steel shot would not be a problem.

Absolutely you can and they come with Winchester's Invector choke Plus system of removable chokes (with cylinder bore as default) so you can re-purpose for your needs. Smart.
