I need to update the front bead on my Winchester SXP (it seems to have fallen off at a 3-gun match), and I'm considering a TruGlu product. My problem is the that the SXP seems the have two possible choices for the thread pitch on the front bead:
I checked my shotgun, and it's made in Turkey. Should I assume that it's a 3-0.5mm thread?
Or maybe I should go with a different option to replace the missing front bead?
- 3-56 - Typical for shotguns made in North America
- 3-0.5mm - It's possible that a shotgun made in Europe would have this thread pitch.
