Just bought some. Will try it soon. 2 flavors. Orange for cloudy days and Black for sunny days. Anyone out here try it yet. Supposedly the colored wad stays with the pellets for 50 yds or so letting you see where your shot goes. Should be good for Clays which I am having a hard time with. Was trying for Tracers but apparently they are prohibited here in Canukstan.

A few guys tried them at my club and they didn't like them much, they found them to be a little deceiving and they were frequently pulling their shots to see where the wad was going. I dont like them much myself either can trick you if you're shooting on windy days. Let us know how they work out for you.

I have tried them out at both clubs I go to here in Calgary and area. The problem I have with these shells is with skeet the target is moving to the side. It messes you up by thinking you're shooting much too far behind it then you are.

For trap they are a little better but anything else just buy regular shells.

That's my 2 cents.

I've tried them and was unimpressed ! I can usually just see the normal wads just as well. Just a gimmick in my opinion.

I bought a box for the same reason everyone else did. To tell you the truth, as the shooter I had problems following the wad while concentrating on the target. They were on sale so I bought a box, wouldn't bother with them again. The orange ones have a cool orange hull though.

not impressed. Hard to see unless the light conditions are just right, though perhaps partly due to our Trap range having a treed perimeter..
You need to use a spotter behind the shooter. If you are focusing on seeing the wad, you are not focused on the bird, head down on the stock, and on your follow through.

Same deal - bought a few boxes on sale to try, but almost never see the wad anyway.

I had better results from getting a few quick lessons on the range vis instinctive shooting vs leading than I ever did from those shells.

Tried them on Trap and every time we used one we hit the clays so didn't get a very good feel for them. Best if someone stands behind the shooter to spot the wad. I'll try them again here soon.

The wad is not a true indication of the shot's flight path. Try it for yourself at the patterning board at 40 yards.

Tried them on 5 Stand and couldn't see them. I had the Black though which are for sunny days and it was cloudy unfortunately. Will try them again when the sun comes back out. Not great for sure.
