Winchester vs Federal vs Remmington

Who makes the better factory ammo? Just between the super X, powershok, and the plane jane remmington.

I would say Rem Cor-lock would be best out of those.

I've tested all of them a bit (180gr/300WM) and was impressed w/ the CoreLokts and Power Points. The CL's opened slower and penetrated a bit deeper in wet newspaper; the PP's opened immediately and created a wider "wound" channel. Not sure if those are typical results...I was just messing around.

The PP is not only thicker but it was a lot harder. Anyway, big fan of PP's and CL's here!

I have found winchester to be dismal in every application , accuracy wise, but federal always has been very good in anything I launch it out of

For me Winchester and Federal have shot the most consistant.

It depends entirely on which brand your rifle likes.

I've use federal 95% of the time, when I can't get it, I use winchester. I find the point of impact not to change (very slight).

Most of my guns like Win silver tips best, even the remington 7400.

Federal and Remington is what I feend my rifle. Ive stoped using winchester.
