So, Winchester has a new .22 rifle called the Wildcat. Seems it takes Butler Creek 25 rd mags. Someone on Canadian Firearms Digest asked if the Butler Creek mags would now be legal to keep.

Probably not - because it still doesn't "unmake" the Ruger "charger" pistol. Pity we can't go back in time and tell Ruger that their charger pistol is a really bad idea before it hit the shops.

All we need to do is have winchester make hi capacity magazines marked "wildcat" and we would be good to go. TC also has a new semi auto 22lr that uses the same magazines. So if either company decides to make hi capacity magazines with their markings we would legally be able to use them in our 10/22,77/22 and 96/22's.

Never "underestimate" the RCMP's predilection for setting-up firearm owners for BOHICA... :canadaFlag:

The mags are prohibited... it does not matter what they go into at this point.

Ruger couldn't care less about our Charger woes... we are a tiny little blip on their money radar.
