Hey
Yes another Winchester thread.😁
I had an XPR ,wood stock ,sporter barrel and was wondering what’s the diff between it and the XPR model 70?

I’ve had a couple of mods done to it , what you think? Dumb idea or not .
Personally I like it
Barrel cut to 19 inches, recessed crown and open sights added.
All in at a grand..
It’s a beater

Well.......I'll be odd man out...again.....

I've got an XPR in 223 that the Coyotes in Southern Ontario hate to see.

Spending $400 on it made sense, but sinking money into to modify it and spend $1k seems silly.

Cost me $200 for the mods and $700 for the rifles.
So ya , basically a grand , but it has a wood stock and shoots sub MOA

Also , I couldn’t find anything else with a wood stock and open sights , chambered in 6.5 PRC

Ahhh thanks man.. everyone else is being so mean šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I’m gonna ditch the rail and add a set of Leopoldo rings and an half decent 2-10 power scope.
I had a Winchester XPR in 350 legend.
It shot Winchester factory PSP ammo into 3/8ā€ at 100 yards.
Unfortunately I sold it to a friend who had to have it.
Great guns, nice 60 degree bolt lift and extremely accurate.:)
