winchester xrt 270 and winchester mod 70

If memory serves the XTR series were push feed actions, and there is nothing wrong with that. They are a good solid rifle. I hunted with an early 70's push feed M-70 for many years without issue, very accurate a dependable rifle. The XTR designation was just a cosmetic marketing ploy. Without a picture or description of the condition of the rifle it is hard to give you a value. But I was say in decent shape with normal hunting wear and tear 5 to 6 hundred realistically. If it was on the EE 7 to 8 just because.

The XTR's had a shroud over the firing pin, and a small red tab that was a cocking indicator ..... white line spacers, high-gloss finish, black plastic fore end tip, etc. ....
The blueing, fit, and general metal finish was generally well done.

I've been shooting M70's for 35+ yrs. ...... good dependable rifles ......
