winchestor 1906

I like old stuff-there is a nice reblued winchestor 1906 for sale for $450 ,actions seems tight and slick[yes,I know rebluing it devalued it as a collector].I admit mainly nostalgia as my interest-my father used to have one when he was a boy on the farm.How do they shoot?-any issues to watch for?I would just use it for plinking-maybe shooting grouse if it was accurate enough for head shots up to 25 yards

I just checked Boyds-they have replacement stocks for about $70-and since the rifle has been reblued anyway, may as well replace the stock and have a nice looking rifle.All I would be concerned with is existing wear on the moving parts before I put money into it as it isn't a collector but a shooter because it was already reblued
