Hey everyone, I'm always hearing is your bushmaster newer or older made by Windem? How can I determine that? My bushmaster was purchased not even a year ago and it been nothing but flawless! Am I lucky, I always thought bushmaster was a great product. They are the makers of the ACR that every raves over!

Was it bought new? Then it's probably not.
 
Bushmaster and Windham are two entirely separate companies.
I think Bushmaster sold out several years ago to Freedom Group ?
The current Windham Weaponry is owned and operated by former Bushmaster staff who parted with Bushmaster when the take over happened and as far as I know Bushmaster still operates with its own people....
 
Illion NY will be on the "new" bushmaster rifles. Made by Remington in their facility....dunno if its a good or bad thing, but they appear to be decent quality for the most part.

Bushmaster were made in the City of Windham from my understanding. And I think that's part of the reason for the name of Windham Weaponry.
