Nice. And a heavy barrel to boot. (Finally an AR without that dumb Barrel Cut)

Machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium 11595E Steel with a Chrome Lining for long wear and easy cleaning, is Button Rifled 1 Turn in 9” - Right Hand Twist for optimum accuracy with a wide range of .223 / 5.56mm ammunition, and finished in Black Manganese Phosphate for protection against rust and corrosion... :)

Good Job. I read some good things about the company.

p.s (wish I had $1149)

You mean the M203 cut so you can attach a grenade launcher? How is that dumb?

Back on topic, when I first saw Windham Weaponry I thought of Bushmaster....... I remembered when I looked at my lower receiver of my "Shrubmaster" it came from a place called Windham.... I knew "Bushmaster" had to be involved..... somewhat. I looked at the main site of Windham Weaponry and they seem to have staff from various factories.

I remember hearing that most of the old Bushmaster staff moved to create Windham with the goal of making ARs to the "old" Bushmaster quality for a good price.

Just as a heads up, this is an introductory price. Once they arrive they will be going up about $50.

I have also added Vortex Crossfire and Lucid combos.

Implying you have a grenade launcher to attach?

You're right. There was a good story in a recent "Shotgun News" about the demise of Bushmaster's Windham facility after Freedom Group took over. Basically a bunch of people were put out of work. An ex Bushmaster CEO (in his mid 70's and battling cancer) put up a bunch of the cash (and his own $$$ too) he got for selling Bushmaster and brought back a lot of the workers and equipment and started the new company.

Pretty inspirational given how he could've just sat on the money he made as part of Bushmaster going over to Freedom group.

All my previous and current Bushies have h-bar configurations and shoot very well. I wish the new company well...

That is a nice looking AR. I am a big fan of traditional looking AR's and not really a fan of excessive amounts of rails.

How much money and how hard is it to put on an A2 front sight? And how much are carry-handle sights? Sorry I have never owned an AR or tinkered with one so I am curious.
