For you fellow shooters with Windham x39 AR15's......

My 7.62x39 Windham came with the non-enhanced firing. I wasn't sure which pin I had. When I enquired with Windham to verify what pin was in my x39 AR15, they sent me the image below. I contacted them back to say I have the normal pin, and without hesitation offered to send me a x39 replacement pin and free shipping to Canada. To add icing to the cake, they even sold me a few extra pins and shipped them no charge along with the replacement. Great customer service!

I wasn't aware of this. Were you having trouble with yours prior?

Mine hasn't given me issue in the few hundred rounds I've fired. Not sure that my pin has the groove in it either.

Mine was shooting very well. 2500rds so far. The odd time I had a light primer strike....maybe 1-2% with Romanian and Czech ammo. One batch of Romanian ammo was about 5%-10% light primer strikes. At that point I thought I should determine if my rifle did in fact have the x39 enhanced pin. I sent an email to ask how to determine this, and they responed with the image. I was expecting them to tell me to measure the pin, but the firing groove identifier was a pleasant surprise! This should make the light strikes even more rare now.:)
