I would like to ask You for opinion about the only "civilian" shotgun in my collection.
2005 (before Remington was sold to Cerberus) 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge.
3" receiver with very nice, high gloss wood, fexi-tab and 30" vent rib 3" barrel.
Condition is VG to EX I would imagine with just one, very small, nearly invisible scratch on the receiver.
Probably less than a box of target loads thru this shotgun.
Someone removed the dimples from the magazine tube though by drilling two, small holes on 12 and 6 o'clock.
Any idea what's the value of this beauty?
Thanks in advance for your answer. Regards.

You might reasonably expect to get $500 for the gun, maybe a bit more. Check the comparables on the EE. As soon as I see that the dimples in the mag tube have been drilled out it means that some goofball decided that he wanted a mag extension which means we have a former zombiewannabe gun. Without the dimples, how do you keep the magazine spring retainer in when you remove the barrel?

If it is a 2005 it will have a choked tube barrel which I would not cut to make a shorty since that barrel would bring 200 bucks by itself. Lots of cheap other barrels out there to cut
