Finally broke down and jumped in the air gun game. This to facilitate pistol practice during the winter months.... Waiting for the .22 HW 77's arrival now! Target and tree rat dispatch now that my southern workmates have shown me how good they can truly be....

I do the same thing, I just stocked up on pellets and co2 cartridges. A good way to spend an hour or so.

Nice pistol, congrats! My basement isn't well-suited to airgun practice...but I'm sure my Webley Tempest (British) will see a little action over the holidays.

Breaking in the gun will help too, anywhere between 500 - 1000 pellets. By then your form will have improved.
HW45 is such a great gun. Mine likes RWS Hobby’s

This is true. The HW 45 is a spring piston air pistol. When the trigger is "pulled" the spring begins it's motion and this can make it challenging to hold steady. For better accuracy many shooters use SSP (Single Stroke Pneumatic) air pistols which have negligible movement upon pulling the trigger. The HW 75 is such an air pistol. One of the attractions of the HW 45, however, is that it is as powerful an air pistol as you can get in Canada, and like all Weihrauch airguns it is very well made.

Just ordered a Crosman 2240 and a metal breech kit as well as a 10" barrel and some upgraded sights, I hope it's accurate enough to hold my interest..
