Hi folks,
This is want I want: a 6.5x55 swedish mauser in a mannlicher stock with a small scope and bent bolt handle. I can work on a semi inleted stock, don't want to change the barrel, I can't do a bent bolt myself.

So, what can I do?

I can have a good rifle from TradeEx, I will need a stock (laminated or whatever), I can drill the scope mount holes, and I don't know what to do for the bolt!!

Give me your ideas!

Dont want to spend a thousand and about 15 years ago, I saw an article in a gun magazine about a man who made such a thing from a military stock and rifle. Unfortunately, I lost this magazine...

Why not check out some of the excellent Swedish sporters which Trade-Ex has in stock right now? Many of them have the bolt already bent, a number already have scope bases and such.... and they also have some of the commercial Husqvarnas on the commercial action; thase do NOT have the left-side cut-out for the stripper thumb and are much stiffer, so should be more accurate.

Get one like that and get a Mannlicher-type stock from Bishop or Fajen and you are in business.

Bonus is that you don't have to destroy a perfectly good military rifle to do this.
