It was 4 degrees yesterday when I stepped out at the Sporting Clays club. Would have been a nice day for hunting, but at least a bit too chilly for unrestrained fun. :p In a couple months, we'll only dream of days like this. I expect through much of the winter I'll be shooting SC more like once a month than once a week.

I suspect my 1911s have been lonely over the summer. :(

+30C at a shoot I was at today in Southwestern Ontario. I'd rather shoot in 4C.

Ouch. Don't miss the oppressive Ontario summer heat at all. Gets hot here in Alberta too, but not as humid and at night cools way down for sweet comfortable sleep. No bass to speak of in Alberta. I do miss that. No Hazel either I guess (the Mayor or the hurricane). I survived both of those.

Forecast is for Indian Summer. (Are we still allowed to call it that?). Might yet get in some regular clays. Fingers crossed.

How'd your shoot go?

The heat knock the heck out of my score at Twin City . In the field under the hot sun I fell apart with a 5/10 couple of 8s, and a 7, ouch!. then in the woods were it least it was shady, I ran fifty straight. I would rather shoot when the temp is low 20s than high 30s

Yeah, it was brutal in the field. The two stations with targets right into the sun weren't helpful either.
