Hey Guys,

I just got my HS Precision PSV096 in the mail today. I mounted it on my Remington 700 SPS Varmint and I have to say it's a nice upgrade. I purchased the stock from CRA Tela in Manitoba and was very happy with the service and will definately be going back to them in the future.

Now down to business. Since the stock swap, I've started having feed issues. The 1st, 3rd and 4th rounds feed fine, but the 2nd round ALWAYS jams. The nose of the bullet seems to be catching the feed ramp and I'm not certain why the stock would cause this to happen or how to fix the problem without modification to teh feed ramp.

Any advice on how to rectify this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kyle

remove the action from the stock and make sure the internal box mag is sitting snugly inside the bottom opening of the receiver, then reassembl.

I just looked at mine. When I open the floor plate and look inside the mag well, there is about .025 clearance between the bottom metal and the bottom of the mag body. I\'m guessing your action is floating too high on the stock or the bottom metal is too low. In either event the bottom metal and action are too far apart, but dictated by the stock.
