The gunsmith I have used since forever has retired. I need some work done (lathe and blueing) and Wise choice is within driving distance of me. Has anyone used their services and would recommend? I am accustomed to very skilled work.

Rob is a top notch fellow. I have 99% of my work done there. If he can adjust a BLR trigger and make it decent he can do just about anything. Give him a call and ask. He will not take on work that he cannot do or has not the experience to do.

I had Rob at Wise Choice work on one of my rifles and after two attempts its still the same as when I first took it to him. I won't be going back.

What were you having Done? I'm just curious as I am supposed to be taking a rifle there in a few weeks and wondering if I should hold off.

I took in a semi auto that was failing to eject most times.
After him working on it twice, it's still no better than the first time I took it too him. I'll see if I can find someone else to take it in to and see if they can fix it properly.

What model? Reloads or factory ammo? Did you supply a quantity of ammo for testing?

There was a fellow that replied to me in a PM regarding this thread that said he could do the work. Unfortunately I have lost his contact info. If he reads this would he please contact me again.
