Hey all,

Has anyone seen the Witt Machine and Tool SME - Sound Mitigation Equipment brake and linear compensator?

I recently saw a video of Jerry Miculek using one and it looks pretty sweet.
Any thoughts on legality in Canada?
Is it really any different than the Surefire Warden? It has cutouts on the outside edges of the brake and additional forward ports for gasses.
Is there anything similar anyone can recommend?

I really like the profile of the brake as it looks to be very effective. I also like how low profile the shroud is and the weight of the whole thing. I have used a forward shroud before but not with a brake and I could sure appreciate how it throws all of the sound forward.
Ideally I'd like to find something similar in Canada that has a very effective brake and a removable shroud for when you shoot beside others.

Any help is appreciated

Doesn't matter what manufacturer calls it, it's just a linear comp, just like Warden. It doesn't mitigate anything, it only redirects gasses forward.

I have a Warden device and it’s use is not to deafen nearby shooters! It makes a big difference if you’re on the side of the rifle or if you’re shooting from a weird position where muzzle blast would raise a cloud of dust.

Looks similar concept to the Warden or Trainer can, just threads on to your brake and funnels the gas forward like a linear comp and makes it nicer for the guys around you on the firing line.

Who has these or similar ? It’s a great idea when with all the kids and family going out to shoot… Pushing the Muzzle brake forward.
