Hey Gunners,

Picked up my 180 yesterday, now I'm planning accessories.

I want to replace the grip and stock and add some M lok stuff . I was wondering if there is a list of interchangeable parts somewhere? I'm new to black rifles and don't want to buy something that wont work.

Thanks

Not all AR grips will fit without some modification. Any grip with a rear beavertail to fit the AR frame will need cutting to fit the 180 frame.
eg Magpul MOE will not fit without modding but a Magpul MIAD will with the flat rear grip section attached.

I have read some cartridge style triggers (specifically Trigger Tech) may not fit without a bit of modification of the bolt stop (needs a tad ground off the bottom of the bolt stop). Whatever trigger you get you must also use the OEM pins.

Some ideas in this thread:

Thanks for responses,

I had 'er out today, put down 50 rounds. Overall it worked great, no failures or jams. Once I got my scope dialed in, I was more accurate off hand than my mini 14 off the bench.

The trigger sure is a challenge, $250 seems like the bottom end of whats available but i think ill spring for it. The wobble between receivers is definitely the first thing i'm going to fix. My bolt catch was sticking when releasing on a loaded mag, but that should break in. After 20 rounds I noticed all 8 hand guard bolts were loose luckily I had the same size allen key for my rings. I want a fatter grip and cheek piece as well.

What butt stock comes on it? The OM doesn't say.

Don't know the brand but Wk says it is the most economic they could find so they could keep prices down. I'm sure with a google search
one could find a few guesses

The Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine Stock is a perfect fit for the WK180-C if you're looking to upgrade. I have it on both of mine.

ALG ACT trigger is great for $90

FWIW I have a Geissele SSA-E in my Daniel Defense AR but could not bring myself to install a $300 trigger in a $1000 rifle - the ACT has been great in the WK-180C for the price

The ACT is basically a more polished Mil-spec trigger with a lighter hammer spring option (2 springs come in the box). Mine reads about 4#4oz with a Lyman trigger gauge

Yeah the ALG is a nice step up, without blowing a ton of cash. For grips, I'd use an Ergo flat top, and for stocks I'd probably go with a CTR. The CTR can be fitted with a cheek piece if necessary.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm new to this whole modding rifles thing.

Not trying to be a #### but it has nothing to do with being new to this whole modding thing and more to do with looking for answers before asking questions.
Guys get tired of answering the same questions over and over when the answer has already been posted in the thread or when there are two more threads with almost the same title on the first page.

You'll find that guys are more than willing to help out inexperienced guys but we expect people to do a little research or searching of their own first.
Myself, when I'm looking for info I check the first couple pages for threads that look like they might have some answers, I also google things. You can also try the dealer page, in this case go to the Wolverine page under the Dealer Network tab above and see what you can find in there.
Then when all else fails come here and post your questions and we'll all be happy to give you our opinions. Just remember that just like anything else on an internet forum you're getting opinions, not usually hard facts.

As for the trigger, the ALG ACT is the best bang for the buck you'll find. I own two of them and for around $100 they're fantastic.
ALG also happens to be a child company of Geissele so no worries about quality.
One thing to note though is that the ACT is a single stage trigger so if you prefer a 2 stage in your semi it may not be for you.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your 180c.
