Good Day!

First post here. Hopefully this is the correct section.

I just picked up my wk180c yesterday was able to mount my scope no problem, but the foregrip which I thought would be the easy part I could not get on for the life of me. I'm new to M-Lok so I watched some videos online but the mounting nuts on every video slip right into the grooves of the M-Lok rail. The 2 mounting nuts that came with my RVG however are wider than the rail and will only fit in without the screws already attached. Without any way of removing the shroud I tried using a skinny pair of tweezers to hold the nuts in place while I tried getting the screws started but seems almost impossible.

Am I going about this all wrong?
Any Tips would be greatly appreciated!

The nut should enter the rail slot without a problem... Could be flush, but not tight.

Then it should rotate 1/4 turn (so its not parallels with the slots but perpendicular instead) when you're screwing it in then tighten against the rail.
Any pictures ?

Yes that's what all the videos show but the nut is to wide to fit in. **Image and video linking functions will be enabled after you have contributed more to the forum**

If the threaded inserts won't fit through the mlok slots, they're either too wide, or the slots are too narrow. Do you have the means to measure either accurately?

You could also just reduce the insert width until they fit with a file or a grinder. As long as they fit through and rotate when you're tightening them, the width isn't super important.

You sure you have the right hardware?

Finally got it to fit. I don't think the mount was made for the Wk-180c had to cut the bolts down so they didn't tighten right into the barrel. Once I did that I slipped the nuts in and used a key to hold the nut down while i tightened the bolt into it from the other side of the shroud. Very tedious but happy with the results. Hoping it holds.
