Wk180 Gen 2

Since I’m new and need to prove I’m a real boy to get into the equipment exchange… Recently purchased a wk180 gen 2, was quite hesitant after experiences with gen 1s I had shot previously but this one seems solid. Shooting roughly 1 moa at 100 yards with cheap hornady factory ammo. I’ve always been a bolt action/precision rifle guy. What’s the most worthwhile mods any one has experience with on these wks? Definitely some form of trigger to start

I have to say the trigger is a must. I took a Trigger Tech adjustable from my parked AR15. I also recommend a bipod. Obviously good glass is important.

Some say the TNA adjustable gas port is helpful in taking the recoil and over gassing. I noticed my plunger return spring showed signs of stress from overcompression after only 100 rounds or so. I bought the valve but haven’t tried it yet.

Does IBI make carbon barrels for the AR / WK? Didn't see such an option on their website.

OP if you are getting MOA out of the WK your are probably not going to see much benefit from a trigger or any other part swaps. Id invest in some back up parts in case of failure and maybe a new stock or grip but thats a special WK180 if it truly shoots constant MOA with cheap ammo.

A good trigger is always worthwhile. Makes shooting a lot nicer. Fighting a crap trigger is not fun.
