So I last posted "WK180C a 10,000 round journey" https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2154165-WK180C-a-10-000-round-journey

Since then the round count has crept up to 16,000 rounds and to be honest....not much has changed

The accuracy with Barnaul (RIP) sits around 3-3.5MOA when I'm the one shooting and the rifle remains entirely functional.

No further changes have taken place since the last post. The rifle has been used in competitions, hunting, plinking, target shooting and more. But it remains perfectly functional.

Because of how ammo prices have been over 2021 and 2022 so far I haven't been putting nearly as many rounds down range but as a firearm rented out for competitions it has still managed to stack up more rounds.

But yeah a very boring but honest report I'm afraid :)

Great to hear. I just picked up a Mag Pul addition a week ago. Added some rails and EoTech site with a flip 3x. Fired 50 rounds through it. Felt good. I would like a new trigger, odd angle and fairly stiff to pull.
Used the Pmag and Lars mag with no feeding issues.
Ordered a brass deflector the other day.
Only wish the charging handle was an easy pop off rather than needing a tool to remove is every time for cleaning
It would be fun to compare the last of the 223 rifles still non prohibited to own such as
Wr180R
H&K SL8
T97
I have to bring them all out and see how each compare with each other and add the SKS just because.

16000 rounds is impressive! My WK-180 broke after about 300 rounds! Just started a thread about it. :)

In contrast I have a few WS-MCR and they are in the 5000-7000 round range with no problems except one firing pin broke.

One of the things I love about the MCR rifles is how clean they stay compared to AR15's. They don't need much cleaning.
