I grew up in this area and hunted it for years for rabbit & grouse. Haven't seen a rabbit in years when in season. Usually it's just been a walk with my dog. It's mostly 87D that I walk through. Anyone had any luck for rabbit in this area? Think the coyotes have cleaned them out?

I'm down around the Hamilton area. now that you have mentioned it I used to have a ton of rabbits around here a while ago . now the coyotes are back and I haven't seen any in a while.
 
Down Safari Rd there's a area open to hunting, Valens Rd has a spot there as well. I went up last Saturday with my dog and only seen squirrel tracks and small deer tracks. Nothing else.
 
I do alot of hunting out in 87E and 90A. Rabbits galore! Even with the extreme numbers of coyotes and fox the rabbits are still breeding like, well rabbits. Along the river on the trails as well I see alot of rabbit activity.

Now grouse, I never see any down here. I'd trade 100 rabbits for a limit of those tiny turks.

I have kicked up a couple grouse in the area but not many
