I have a winchester ranger 120. It is my fathers first gun. Somewhere along the years he loaned the ejector and spring and everything that retains it to a friend and of course he never saw that again. I am now trying to find the parts and get it put together for his birthday. Can anyone help me with this. I am told winchester used 3 different types of ejectors. How do i tell which kind i am looking for? the gun was purchased in the early 80's. I have tried the elector from my 1300 but there is no hole for the retaining screw to screw into can anyone help me? what kind do i need and where can i get it?

thanks
john

Here is a pic of the ejector, and its spring. This is out of my 120 ranger. The spring slides into a small hole in the back of the reciever. Then the left side of the ejector goes in the spring and is held in place by a very small pin just forward of the hole for the spring. that pin goes int the small oval opening on the extractor.

Hmmmm...funny, they told me the same. Now that I remember they seemed to have made a big deal too when I wanted to buy a syn pump for mine and they insisted I bring the gun. Maybe its just me, but every 120,1200, 1300 I seen looked pretty near identical??? But the one that I bought looked exactly the same as the one in the pic.
