I shoot it and find it very accurate and consistent, but would look for something with a much heavier bullet for deerI'm thinkin of trying this stuff in the mini-30 for deer.
Anyone try it yet?

On the contrary, that 154 gr bullet should do fine on deer. I can't see wh y you would need heavier than that on them.....
154 grain is a heavy bullet in this cartridge .
Bullet constuction and shot placement are more important than bullet weight .
Many a greater animal fall to same weight or lighter every year .
Plus getting a heavier bullet in .311 would take you up to .303 weights , you'd have a hard time finding somewhere for the powder to go and even if you did it would put a beating on your rifle I'm thinking .
But YMMV
I would like to try some of this stuff , can you get it in Canada and where ?
A 123 gn SP out of any 7.62x39 gun within reasonable range will kill any deer on the Earth. I'd leave the 150gn bullet for something bigger.
