is there a canadian source for wolf ammo? i googled and came up with nada but i was thinking it may be a alternative to the not so stable supply of milsurp ammo also they have .303 british :)

There brass cased ammo is made by Prvi Partizan in Serbia, there ssteel cased is made by Tula in Russia. PP was imported by Bell in Ontario.

You guys can keep that Wolf ammo crap to yourselfs if it ever comes here. I don't know why everyone is so eager to get such a crappy brand of ammo in. Its bottom of the barrel ammo in my opinion.

Why do you say that? What sort of problems did you have with it?

I've shot plenty of wolf in my AR's and CZ. I wouldn't feed it to any high class rifles but for a cheap ammo used for casual shooting I see no wrong.

I'd love to be able to buy it. As CanAm points out, Wolf seems to be made under contract by factories which are approved ammo manufacturers. Anyone want to make the case to NRCan that Wolf should be importable...?

I hazard a guess, because he knows? And I second that.
Everyone wants to get it however, because it's cheaper than other brands.

We should lobby to abolish NRCAN instead. Seems to me like a more viable solution.

Even if it is crap, it's good enough for plinking. Those of us who want to shoot our .303 rifles and don't want to reload need cheap ammo.

I bought 1000rds of Wolf .223 55gr HP, found it very dirty, anemic and it didnt group at all, more like a "pattern". However am told that the 762x39 154gr SP that I brought for a friend is alot better. The Wolf 223 didnt even compare to the Silver Bear .223 62gr HPBT that was almost the same price at the time. It is around 3000fps, and prints easy MOA.
