wolf mounts

while we're on it. ~Cost of A full size red fox mount?

From what I've seen, lifesize usually runs a bit more than double of a full head rug. Fox probably around $700-$800 lifesize. Some guys charge extra for fleshing, tanning, etc.,some include it. Most don't include the base on lifesize and it can add quite a bit to the amount.
I'm not a taxidermist so don't take these quotes as gospel.

Here's mine (done by Clarence Kriasky three years ago):

What about a full sized human? when I go I'd like to get my own body done, and have it set up on the couch, or my computer desk I figure it'd be about a month before my wife noticed something was different

bearkilr where do you live that you can get that kind of a price
here my sheep head cost me 900, my goat rug is costing 1100, the wolf is going to be about 2500 depending on what is done, my deer heads have cost 300(bad job)-900 (really good job).

I'm in Manitoba. Most guys in this province run at the prices I quoted and taxidermists in SK as well.
$900 for a deer head????? Wow, there must be more money out where you are. No one would pay that out here.
Plus, our taxidermists have to stay competitive with US guys, lots of non-res hunters leave their stuff here to get mounted, though lately that market has nearly dried up. Hawkins in Winnipeg, one of the biggest in Canada, shut down last year due to US Fish & Wildlife fees and Canadian gov't red tape.
Both these guys do good work:
