Is there a good Canadian source for Wolff springs? Looking for a set of main and hammer springs to replace my Shadow's springs (preventative maintenance).

Also, what set up are people running in their Shadows for IPSC? I normally run 147gr Campros with CCI (Fib) primers and want to know how light I should go on the main and hammer springs?

Cheers,
Sam

Hi,
I have a SP01 Shadow otw and I'm curious about all that hype about changing the stock springs.
I'm will be shooting factory ammo, mainly 124gr (because I have tons on hand).
Do I have to worry about using it in stock form with the stock springs?

Not at all. The stock setup is great. The only time you need to change the recoil spring is after significant use - the number I hear most often is every 5000 rounds.

The only other reason to change the recoil or hammer spring is to tune the gun for competition. Reducing the springs can help lessen felt recoil and reduce the trigger pull in double action, which are not concerns for most use. This guide provides some information on tuning CZ spring rates: https:// cajungunworks.com/technical-support/
