Wolff tube spring for Mossberg 590 worth while?

Any need/worthwhile to upgrade factory magazine tube feed spring on Mossberg 500/590 series?.....or just a no gain accessory?

Not so much wear out, as break. I’ve wound up replacing a couple for guys over the years. Bird hunting. Gun gets wet. They don’t clean it properly. Spring winds up with rust spots, which if left long enough weaken the spring and it breaks. I can’t comment on Wolf springs. I’ve always just gotten replacements from Simon (S & J Hardware)

Exactly. If the OP is among the 2% of Mossberg 590 owners in this category, then yes, a spring with greater corrosion resistance (like the Wolff springs) might be money well spent.

Well I'm placing an order for other stuff, so I might as well throw in a spring in there also. Cheap insurance to have one kicking around. Thanks everyone.
