It is taking quite a while to get the AR80B's in...... At first I was informed that they were supposed to come in on the first two weeks of April, then I was told it would take six more weeks, and after that I was informed that it would take another 4 weeks to be delivered, and I am still waiting. Is this normal for it to be taking this long?

Thanks.

Unfortunatly yes. We can thanks Customs and the Manufactures.

Do you have your name on the list or put a deposit down, because while they may have a shipment coming in, they could be all "spoken for"

Even accessories, if they are not in stock things can take a while, then be delayed even more...certain manufacturers, distribution channels and export regulations can put a strain on patience, at least Canadian suppliers are taking the time and agrevation to get them in for us. So be patient with Wolverine and others, they are not doing it on purpose.

Yes, I put a deposit down on a rifle at the end of February and have my name on one, and yes I know it's not Wolverine, I have e-mailed them and they have sent me a letter back stating that they had to renew their importation forms for AR180B since they had expired, last I heard they hadn't got the paperwork back yet and did not recieve an update on the new delivery date, that was about a week ago, so I hope they'll be coming in soon...........

I had a bit of a wait last year for some parts due to import issues, but they came through and I was very satisfied with the service.

It's out of their hands. On things not waiting for import, they have sent them out promptly, and I am happy to deal with them.

You should title this thread "Buying guns in Canada is lame and frustrating."

armalite is making the AR180b with a different barrel now. as such the length makes it restricted. however to comply with ban states, they are also making the original barreled version. this is a limited run that wolverine also tries to get rifles from. hence the long delays in getting non-restricted AR18o's.

We have just heard this morning the US DDTC have finaly renewed ArmaLites export licence. We have "tons" of stuff backed up with the shipper, which should move as soon as flights are available. We will clear all back orders ASAP but it may still be a few weeks before you see your orders. Our apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience.

Even though it is not your fault you say this.:) Of all the dealers who post and try and explain to us on CGN, you sir have always had impeccable manners and the best CS.

Thank-you for YOUR patience. Just another reason why Wolverine is and has always been the best at this game.:)

That's the reason (warning of trying to hijack this thread) I bought my latest AR lower (Eagle Arms/ Armalite) from Wolverine... Great customer service from Ryan and John (Mr Wolverine).

There... let's get back to the forum topic.

Cheers,
Barney

+1 for Wolverine staff & service. It took about a year to get my Steyr parts (comparable to finding hens' teeth), but I got them.
