1971 Parker-Hale 1200? in 7mm Rem Mag. Only 3 shots fired. Looks beautiful. very minor scuffs to the varnish. with 3 Mags.

Any info you guys have on value would be much appreciated!!

I have a parker hale 1200 in excellent condition. I had it appraised "unofficially" by a couple of extremely knowledgeable gun guys (2 of which sell new/used guns daily) and they said that average market for the PH 1200 was 350-400 with extremely fine examples or rarer calibers going for about 500. They also said that the guns are pretty undervalued on the market. I think mine is beautiful and it shoots like the dickens. I wouldn't venture a guess on the other 2 as I am unfamiliar with the 25-20 and there are a lot of variables and models that I am still learning about in regards to model 99's. I am eager to see the other postings on this one myself!!!

Contact MadDog on the 99, he's our resident Savage guru.
The Sporter's are neat little rifles, more collector than shooter due to ammo availability. I can't see the pics, but assuming it's in "good" condition $250-$350 if it has the original magazine.
The PH is, like Sgt. Rock suggests, undervalued. They are generally great rifles, but not without issues. Last one I had was a 1200C (clip model) in 300 Win Mag, it sold for $600 locally.

the sporter was made between 1923 and 42.

Post pics of the roll mark on the barrel and we might be able to date it better for you.
The early ones have a Schnable forearm like yours, later ones had a round forearm and better magazine design. The one I have is of the later style and Joe figured it was made about 1932 or shortly after.

Too bad it is D&T'd that won't help the price no matter what. The ammo is a nice bonus tho.

Nugget picked up a 1200C in 300 Win Mag a few years ago for $250. Hard to say with the pic but you might add $100.

The 99 has been drilled and tapped post factory, it has swivel studs added post factory and the butt stock is not original, it actually looks like a 60's DL or an aftermarket butt stock. Glass is worth more off the rifle usually than as a package. The 99 might get $250 - $300 no collector interest left in it and it is not a caliber that most hunters want these days. JMTCW
