Wondering where to shoot in ottawa (Ottawa valley )

Just curious where I can get some practice time in to learn and eventually compete in long range shooting. As of now I'm limited to 350 but I have got the itch to go further!

I have tried to contact this organization a few times with no response. What is the best way to go about this? I've sent a few emails and have tried calling. I just assumed that they were not taking new members.

We have a good club on base in Petawawa...out to 600M.

For a DCRA membership you need to belong to a Provincial Rifle Association or the National Capital Region Rifle Association (NCRRA). The shooting season hasn't really started yet this year, so it might be difficult to contact someone at the NCRRA Clubhouse. Manitou210 or FTRRookie might be your best bet to contact for the NCRRA this time of year. I believe they shoot 300m on Wednesday afternoons and long range on Sunday mornings, you might want to try going out there during those times.
