Anyone know where i can find a nice selection of wood blanks for a savage mark II project? Ebay seems the only place I can find. This will be my first stock, any suggestion from Those more experienced than I?

Location in your profile would be of some small assistance.
Got a Windsor Plywood near? They stock raw lumber, and you get to pick and choose. Last I looked, it was about $8 a board foot (1"x12"x12").
They have some (usually) plain Black Walnut as well as some exotics and a lot of Maple.
Want fancier wood like Bastogne or English Walnut? There are a couple sites in the states that have a decent selection of decent wood, at decent prices ($200 on up) or you can just spend a lot!!
For cheap, birch plywood from Home Depot, some white glue and a bunch of clamps. Laminate, carve, inlet, sand, stain, seal and use.
For really cheap, fir plywood, same procedure, but seal it, fill the divots with body filler, and paint.
Whatcha want to accomplish here?

I'm in the lower mainland, I do have access to windsor. I will check them out.
I purposly bought the Mark II FV in a composite stock so I could throw a rich walnut or maple stock on it. Something with some nice deep grain, I like the spalted maple.
I love the schnabel look to the featherweights and huskies, so I may attempt that.
