Last week my nestbox check found a newly hatched brood, they jump the next day so I int back at 5am and waited.... At 7:15 they started and 11 jumped in less than a minute!. Second time I've seen this, a great experience!
Almost stepped on a fawn sleeping in grass directly under one box, scared the crap out of me but as always it was another example of never knowing what will you'll see when your outdoors!
