I like my Savage Scout, but the tupperware stock has much to be desired. If I have to I'll reinforce the forend with an arrow shaft or something, but I'd I'd rather just replace it with a wood stock, prefereably a laminate one.
I'm having some difficulty finding one that will work though. My Scout is the first model with the side magazine release button and at the moment all I can find are stocks for the bottom mag release version.
Does anyone know where I can find a stock that will work for me? Even a used one will do.
Also, am I correct in thinking a model 10 stock will work as well since the two models share the same action?
