Very cool! What’s the name of your club, if a person was to send a donation towards repairing the bear attacked boxes, Or for general upkeep? My wife absolutely loves seeing your yearly pics as well as myself. Thanks for the enjoyment
We are Pit####erfowlers, our nonprofit is based out of Pitt Meadows Gunclub.
I thank you for your comments and offer, at present we are doing very well and don’t need donations from individuals.
We started our project 11 yrs ago, it was just my buddy Chris and me putting up 7 boxes. With the help of hunters we met out in our region and support from our gunclub we have grown to 140 boxes in our area and this year saw about 60% use in the boxes!
We had cedar wood donated from a local lumber mill last year and made about 70 boxes which we have been using to replace old plywood boxes. We also received $2500 in store merchandise from Cabelas (“would you like to round up?” fund).
I appreciate your offer and comments. Thank your offering means a lot but we really are not in need at this time.
I post a lot on Instagram @pit####erfowlers and my personal @canso_dan Lots of duck project pics and duck hunting pics on these accounts if you have Instagram. I update the nestbox project pretty much every week during spring.
