Woody Box update #7

Had to go back out today as I was in a hurry the other night and forgot batteries for our cameras. Had 3 still working and grabbed the cards, also got great photos of a rare around here Sandhill that flew by and mallards with ducklings, and a flying Woody drake. Great morning!

Don't know what this hen is up to. Might be another hen laying in the same box and she's cleaning it out. Never heard of that though...:

And rare around my area but nice to see this Sandhill this morning too:

The hen cleaning out the egg was one she felt was not worth setting on .
They have a sixth sense about those things.
Then again , maybe your theory is correct.
Cool picks for sure the Drake and of course the Sand hill Crane.
