We are three Canucks going to the World at Orville which is just outside of Amiens. It is our best sporting clay shooter in Canada (show me who has won or placed top three at more NSCA major events in the past twelve months), junior Shawn Stitt, Pierre Dubois an myself. It will be my third trip in a row to Orville. last year was the Belgian Championship (yes Belgian as they have to use steel in Belgium and not France) and the year before was a sellout crowd for the Euro.
Pierre and Shawn have arrived and have even shot today. I will leave tomorrow on the new A 380. I got Le Domaine du Clos St Lambert to open on Tuesday for some International shooters, as it is usualy closed Tuesday and Wednesday. It held the French Nationals last weekend. Everyone was estatic of the targets. They have 10 parcours!
Orville is a very varied terrain that was fought over during both World Wars. Most of the parcours will be on virgin grounds.

Most of us are staying in Amiens, a gorgeous city. Others are staying in Arras, another smaller city. The lat times I was there, I got to visit Vimy Ridge which was AWESOME. It is a piece of Canada in France and was given by the French as a thank you to Canada. All the personel is from Parks Canada! I also visited Albert with its tunnels and small fort. I saw many cemetaries. Very depressing.
Anyways, we are off to the goog food and great wine countries, yes I am also going to Italy. I am visiting RC near the Adriatic coast. So, Iget te best of the best, French and Italian in the next three weeks.
Regards,
Henry
