Worth the money?

Thanks for the advice. It's not a NT II and the price is edging closer to $400. Reviews say the trigger is very good, with a little work to ensure the barrel is free when it's hot it should do until I'm ready to have something custom built if I get that into precission shooting. I'll see what the final price is.

Sounds like you mind was already made up when you asked.... Like others have said go with a Savage or Remington. 3 potential scenarios here...
1) You hate precision rifle shooting... Sell the Rem or sav and move on. (good luck unloading a Mossberg NightTrain)
2) You like and and you realize you are happy with your set up and want to add some goodies to make it yours or shoot a little better... Rem or Sav go nuts! (Again good luck on the Moss)
3)You get addicted and want to push this further into a custom...GO buy your after market barrels for a Sav and do it your self, Donate your rem action to custom build or sell Rem or sav for small loss etc. (Try and Sell mossberg- probably at huge loss and build custom)

In the end .... If the Mossberg Nightmare makes your boy parts tingle, go for it! Its your cash afterall!

The price would have to be edging a long, long, ways below $400 before I would be even looking at it.

Okay, Grandaddy, from one grampa to another, I'll be the one to say what everyone else is skating around....They are junk! Run, don't walk away.
