Would be great to meet some of you in person but the cyber and physical worlds are pretty well separated. Thought about a CGN name tag or t-shirt, but although I enjoy this site, the 'gunnutz' part brings to mind a hacker living in mom's basement with a small grow op and a cache of guns.

Not sure how much it would help cause I'm terrible with names and faces but if you see me at Silver Willow, say hi. Short (~5'4") overweight (~200) grey hair and a moustache. Perhaps unsurprisingly, my name is Rob.

I'm guessing I've met some of you already. :)
 
It is amazing how many CGNers are involved in organized matches, like IPSC, IDPA etc. So much so, that we have a section for our CGN names on our DSSMatch match sheets! It is nice to put faces to names and it's a common bond for when shooters get together.
 
Not sure about BC or even provincials. My skills are nowhere near where they need to be to actually be a contender. Having said that, I used to run marathons and got passed by many a little old blue haired lady. Don't need to be competitive to participate. Saturday will be my first registered shoot. If I don't embarrass myself too bad, I just might be back for more. ;)

Very few people at registered shoots are contenders. That is why they have classes.
 
A friend and I put together an informal shoot/get together each year for cgn guys with side by sides as an excuse to meet other gunnutz. Maybe just post when you are going to be at a particular club and see if a couple of cgn guys will join you just for a round of clays. You may be surprised by the response.
