, but would it work with a .177 under-495 fps air rifle?
I have used this exact model with my Hammerli 495 FPS air rifle in .177, and it dented the crap out of it every shot.
The pellet drives about halfway through the plastic.
No good.
Try a cheap metal swinger that you get at Canadian tire/ bass pro.
They are meant for 22lr, but give a nice ping when they are hit, and they are cheap.

Tuna can lids that were removed with a Starfrit can opener would work.
One could even add 2" target stickers to the lids. KD
