Around here its close to an even split between ki-ute and ki-yote.

Show me a person that say's ki-yote-E and I'll show you:

a) Someone who spends more time watching coyote hunting on TV than coyote hunting.

b) Someone who just being silly, or is subtly making fun of person (a), or blatantly of TV, videos or Americans in general.

c) Someone who is setting the stage for a roadrunner joke, or says Wile "E" when he's out of fist swinging distance. Nobody likes person (c). He is also likely to be the one to say "Bullwinkle" for moose or "Yogi" for bear.

Moose are swamp donkeys, Yogi is reserved for the larger ones, the normal and smaller are boo boos....lol

If someone in hunting clothes is laying in an emergency room bleeding, its probably because he said "swamp donkey" three times, or Boo Boo once. An exception for the first can be made if he was referring to his .338-8mm Rem and he bought all the beer and is using his truck, but there's no recovering from Boo-Boo.

I would love to have you at one of my hunt camps dogleg, half the time I don't even know what they are talking about.

"We saw two jerky burgers at 5 klik, so I jumped out and emptied my clip at the first one with head gear. When I walked over for a look see I realized I forgot my other clip for the donkey cannon in the meat forwarder. So I hollered at my pardner to bring his bang stick. We found it in the sticks a bit, with 2 holes in kitchen."
