Would the BERETTA 92 BRIGADIER be a ok IPSC gun

I'd still run a Beretta if they could make the Elite II's again. Great guns, accurate, simple to work on, work great with any ammo, and super reliable.
However if you shoot 30000+ rounds a year out of them, they will not survive.

Pretty much yeah. I started doing IPSC with a M9. Mine was super reliable with any ammo but I broke the firing block after 9 months.

I few years ago I used a Elite II in production.I liked it,it was super reliable and accurate, but at the e nd of the day I ended up switching to a Tanfoglio.I preferred the sights and grip and the way it handled.Nothing wrong with the Beretta and if you already had one it would serve you well, but seeing that you have still to buy a gun I would start off with a CZ or Glock. The Shadow is only slightly more expensive than the Beretta and parts, accessories etc are a lot easier to get hold of.As an above poster noted as well, the Beretta also wont hold up to a really lot of shooting as a CZ or Glock will. Its always a good idea to see what all the top shooters are using, and go from there, they use those guns for a reason.
