Would this fit my 308 ??

It says fits standard weaver centrefire base if its the one that I was looking at. I'd be surprised if it didn't fall apart, but for fooling around, heck its only $32.00 wasted.

I had one on my .308 for a while, worked OK, but the dot is quite large for shooting 100yds or more. I put it on my ML last season and it lost its zero and cost me 2 large bucks. So off it came.

they are fairly popular on centerfire rifles for hunting. the red dot may well be a bit too larges for target shooting, however there is a bushnell model that has diffrent settings settings ,from a dot , to an x to a 0, that might be better for target shooting.i can't recall which model it was.

"...the dot is quite large for shooting 100yds..." Usually covers the whole bull. That's no good for precise shooting.
