With the sale of remington and the uncertainty of what is going to happen with the company, do you feel comfortable buying one of their products? I am trying to decide between a browning bps and a remington wingmaster and am leaning towards the wingmaster but with the change of ownership i am unsure about the future of the company.

What does the future of the company have to do with the quality of their guns? You only need one, it'll last you 100 years if you take care of it. Buy away!

(says the guy with a safe full of model 70s...)

Andre, the Remington's look like s___t, however they work, what is more they are somewhat like Harley's, everybody makes parts or has parts.
Regards, J Stuart.

PS; Both of my work rifles are Remington's and I cannot fault either.

The recent ownership change has not changed my opinion of Remington, or their firearms. I still don't particularly like or dislike them. I'm still apathetic, and don't care :)

at the price they go for this year, you dont get as much value as you did last year, I wont be buying any this year

Remington quality has been slipping for years.
I just got a newer/used CDL and am pleased with the gun overall. The SPSs have a lower finish, but have functioned just as well as the older ones I own.

.

I've had both.
They are both great guns.
The Wingmaster is lighter and what I kept.:shotgun:
Don't worry about ownership change,it'll outlast you !
