The absolute co-witness riser mount for the Hensoldt RSA-S weighs like it is made of steel. It's ridiculously heavy. One of the main selling points of the Hensoldt RSA-S is that it is the lightest red dot sight on the market (lighter than the Aimpoint Micro T1). With the riser mount it feels as heavy as an Aimpoint Pro.
Would you drill holes in this mount to get rid of some of the weight, if you felt that reducing weight was a worthy endeavour? (please note the condition to this question - I realize many of you don't think that losing weight is a worthy endeavour, ergo don't reply to this post).
