Just the Fabarm owners please or if you consider yourself an expert in all things manly ;D

Just wondering because I like the looks of the Fabarms and am looking to purchase a shotgun. However, besides pistols, I cant justify myself buying a firearm I am unable to hunt with.

so, opinions away!

Only if it was suitable as a grouse gun in the first place !

Most forms of upland hunting aren't too rough on an expensive
double ... but waterfowling, that can be another matter alltogether.

SORRY ... Senior moment ... confused FABARM with FAMARS
regrets - BIG diference !

sure... why not? Just dont use the 14 martial with open choke... your distance might only be 25 feet or so. But i do believe all new fabby's come with an extra choke to scew in.. ie... modified or full. Correct me if im wrong.

Fabarm has a pretty diverse production line. Can you be more specific? Their 20ga O/U is pretty popular here for grouse.

Definately. Use what you have.

Heck, I've lent out my 14" 870 with cylinder bore for a buddy to use while duck hunting. Works fine. As long as you keep them within range.. :)

Would I? I would and I have! It's a awesome grouse gun! It patterns VERY nicely, even better with the extended full choke included. It's light weight makes it easy to carry for hours. And it looks damn cool.

Yeah, which gun? It's like asking if I can use a Winchester for grouse hunting.

As long as it's not restricted, you can hunt with pretty much anything.

Number 4 shot looks like this @ 20meters with the full choke attached:

target 2

target 3 (shot a bit high on this one)

I find the open choke with number 4 shot works VERY well at grouse ranges with this shotgun. :D
