i have always been attracted to this variant cos of the extra long HG, AK style cocking handle and a different shape mag .

how many communist countries in the world past and present? I think they all had/have SKS's, right? Are there any CZ or Eastern German SKS's out there?

If Albanian SKS prices will be at Allan's Armory levels (US$430 for the cheapest...non-refurb, well used), speaking as a shooter not a collector, I'd say "no, thank you". I'm perfectly happy with my cheap Leverarms Russkies and even cheaper Norinco D.

If I were a collector, that's an entirely different matter.

This reflects the secondary market price. No more are available for import as, by all accounts, only 8,000 were sold and the balance destroyed.
