I was just wounding if you could tell me if I'm being stupid or ???? I have a Kimber 84M classic stainless that I was thinking about trading for a Win Fwt M-70 thats BNIB. Good trade or Bad!!!

Bad... owned both and the Kimber was the better rifle, an improved M70 is what it is.

I think you'd be losing on that trade. But, if you're trading something you don't really like for something you do like, then it is a good trade. But if you think you're upgrading to a better rifle, well, I don't think you are. The other guy is.

I have both of the rifles your speaking of. From a financial point of view you can buy two M-70 featherweights for the price of one Kimber.

The M-70 is a very good rifle, but it simply isn't in the same league as the Kimber.

Better yet..Dump the Kimber, and get a Cooper..One bad experience with Kimber was enough for me...Very hit and miss in the accuracy department..Pun intended!

Thanks guys I think maybe I hit my head while at work thinking about getting rid of my kimber. What was I thinking she is a tack driver and very light too boot.
