In my area of Alberta our moose draw system is split: Early or "calling" season is mid-September until October 31. Late season is November 1-30.
Would you rather hunt the calling season, maybe put up with a few bugs, leaves on the trees, but have the chance to call a bull in, or.....
Would you rather hunt later, colder, maybe snow, and quad far back in the bush and either track or see a bull (easier to see) in the bush.
I guide during the early season and hunt for myself during the late season, so I get to do both.
How 'bout you????? Which would you prefer??
